Investment Style and Philosophy

We are a multi-style, multi-product organisation and do not have a single global investment style and philosophy. We believe that it is better to allow teams to manage according to processes in which they believe than to impose a process on all. Therefore, we offer a range of investment products covering the spectrum of styles, geographies and asset classes which can meet the varied objectives of our clients’ portfolios.

Research & Development

We are committed to the concept of having local people in place to manage assets in that market or region and also to service our clients. The research function is a team effort carried out by investment professionals using appropriate technology. Activity is coordinated across business units wherever investment managers feel it is possible to extract significant benefit for our clients. The extent to which investment teams are able to exploit the resources of the broader group to enhance performance will vary by style and by product, but we see this dynamic as a major competitive advantage for the Group.
